To give you the best performance for your system, the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 OC has bigger and better Axial-tech fans which spin on dual-ball bearings and have scaled up to propel 23% more air throughout the card, offering lower temperatures, less noise, and more performance. Reducing turbulence and maximising air dispersion through the heatsink, the two side fans spin counterclockwise, whilst all three fans come to a standstill when GPU temps are below 50 degrees Celsius offering relative silence from less-demanding games or tasks. Fans start up again when temperatures start to rise, referencing a speed curve that balances performance and acoustics for work or play. The custom heat sink is sized and structured to soak up the heat so that it can be blown away by the three fans. Featuring milled pathways, the vapour chamber lets the heat pipes sink in without being pressed flat, allowing heat to be carried more effectively to the fin stack.

FANCONNECT II
With two PWM FanConnect headers the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 OC offers additional DIY flexibility, chassis fans can directly be attached to the card and then tuned with a curve that is based upon CPU and GPU temperatures, delivering extra intake or exhaust for demanding tasks.
POWER SENSING
For quick diagnosis, the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 OC knows if your PSU is worthy. Featuring a high-speed circuit that constantly monitors input power from the PSU and utilises conveniently placed LEDs to indicate voltage regulation issues and cable connection problems.
