Mecer 2400VA, 1440W, 24V DC-AC Inverter with LCD Display and Socket for Optional Solar Power Module (Solar Requires EXT-SCC-2400LBKS [search: EXT-SCC-2400LBKS]). *Cables are included to connect to the battery, and l x cable to connect to a South African 3pin wall socket is included. Requires 2 x 12V deep cycle batteries *Please take note of connection: Connect the RED cable to (+) on the battery and the (+) on the unit, and the BLACK cable to (-) on the battery and the (-) on the unit. Place the cable lug directly onto the battery terminal first, follow up with the washer and then the lock washer, and then the nut. Do not put a washer between the battery terminal and the cable. Connect the positive cable first. Follow the instructions in the manual.

Yes, it does function similarly to a UPS, without the constant beeping.
Can I have everything connected to it and as soon as electricity goes then it’ll power up from batteries and when electricity resumes it’ll get charged automatically?
Yes, you have 220V outlets, and you can leave everything plugged in. When the power goes out, everything continues to work without interruption.
